It's game day! A quick and easy game day feast!

Stuck on your GAME day menu??? Got company coming over??? No problem!

Here is a quick and simple way to entertain a crowd and not loose your mind!

Table scape...

Buffet style table scape (easy cleanup)
Pick up your team colors at any party supply store.
Don't forget the following:
Napkins
Small plates
Large plates
Forks, Knives, Spoons & don't forget the cups!
Make sure you alternate your team colors :)

Balloons are cheap and do the trick quite nicely! Make sure to grab some!

Next stop... Grocery store.

Appetizer : MANY layer dip (compliments of my good friend Read), Chips, & Pizza Bites
Main Course: Filet Sandwiches, Arugula Salad
Desert: Chocolate Chip Cookies

You will need the following:
For the dip --> 1 can of refried beans, green onions, sliced black canned olives, 1 pint of sour cream, 1 package of taco seasoning, 1 lb of grated cheese (mexican blend), 1 container of medium salsa, 4 avocados

1 bag of tortilla chips (unless you have a larger crowd coming)

Depending on the # of people you have coming over... 1 Large pizza (your favorite flavor) --> after you bake it... cut the pizza into mini slices (2 inch by 2 inch squares) great for munching!

Grab some steaks... make sure you get 1 steak per person...

Arugula. Shaved Parmesan Cheese. Olive oil. Balsamic Vinegar. Cherry tomatoes. French Rolls (make sure these are soft) 1 large sweet onion.

Don't forget to stop by the frozen food section and grab a package of cookie dough. (Normally I am all about the home-made... but today it's about easy and delish!)

Dip Preparation: Grab a medium sized clear pyrex baking dish - OR GRAB A DISPOSABLE LARGE DISH IN YOUR TEAM COLORS FROM THE PARTY SUPPLY STORE... start with the refried beans, scoop out 3 large spoonfuls and spread the beans on the bottom of the dish, always making sure you have a thin, smooth even layer, follow this by adding 1 package of taco seasoning to your sour cream and blending the mixture until the sour cream becomes a light shade of brown. Spread a thin layer of this on top of your beans, follow it up with a layer of grated cheese, then a layer of thin cut green onions, then a layer of chopped and smashed avocado, then top it off with your sliced olives. For the next layer start with beans again, then salsa, then avocado, then sour cream mixture, then cheese... top it off with the green onions and the olives. THIS DIP IS AMAZING!!!

Pizza Prep: Cut baked pizza into 2 inch by 2 inch cubes

Place dip, bowl of chips and large plate of pizza slices on the coffee table for your guests to enjoy!

Steak Sandwich Prep: Okay, so this is BEYOND easy!!! Take your steaks and rub them in Lawrys seasoning salt. In a large skillet, place 4 tablespoons of butter PER steak. Place the steaks in the skillet. Your flame should be on MED/HIGH at this point. Cook 4 mins on each side. This will make them medium rare. (So depeding on your preference ... adjust and add 1-2 mins per side.

Slice open your bread and spread a thin layer of Mayonaise on each side. Grab your onion and slice SUPER THIN RINGS ... place a thin layer of sliced onions on your bread.

Take your steak and a very sharp knife... slice thin slices and layer those slices on your french bread. Close it up. Cut in half and place on serving dish. Repeat steps as neccessary.

In a large bowl, add your container of Arugula. 1 container of grated parmigano cheese and 1/4 of a cup of extra virgin olive oil and a 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar. Then add a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper. Top off the salad with cherry tomatoes sliced in half and mix! It's ready to serve, and you are ALMOST ready to enjoy GAME DAY!

Pre-Heat your oven, and pop in those cookies! Make sure you watch the timer!

Pull them out and enjoy!

Your guests will love this simple and fun game day meal. So delish! So easy!
