Pink Girl Wedding Gown Inspirations!

Whether you want to admit it or not...
engaged. single. married.
We all obsess at one point or another about that "perfect gown"...

So here are a few pics of gowns that make us just want to swoon :)

Have fun, be inspired!!!
(No one has to know you snuck a peek, it will be our little secret)
Check out Kleinfeld's website - they have TONS of great designers listed with a boatload of pictures... sometimes its just fun to get lost in a cloud of wedding gowns!

enjoy!

A fun and EASY way to change up your look!!

All the celebrities are doing it... why shouldn't you?

Hair Extensions have been around forever , and we LOVE the idea of changing your look without having to fork over thousands of dollars every other month for permanent (hair damaging) extensions.

Want to look different for your special event?

Check out "CLIP IN" hair extensions. These pictures are different looks achieved by the popular "Hair Do" line of extensions by Ken Paves and Jessica Simpson, but similar REAL HUMAN HAIR clip in extensions are also available at the Hair Shop in Los Angeles on Wilshire Blvd. for a fraction of the cost. For around 120 dollars, you get 7 pieces that are different sizes and they custom match it to blend it with your own hair!

I have personally been using them for years... and we will let you in our our little secret... BOTH Erika and I used them for our PINK PHOTO SHOOT... so great and so easy!!!

A tip ... if you are too scared to take scissors to them yourself, take them to your hair stylist and have them blended and shaped into your own hair. I cut mine so that they would blend in with my own layers and no one can tell they are in.

It takes a bit of practice... but once you get it, you will become hooked. Long locks that you can curl or straighten and NO DAMAGE to your own head! Love it!!!

It's gloomy out... PINK up your mood with these yummy (and pretty in pink) treats!

When was the last time you had one of these?

Instead of cake... how about doughnuts?
Everyone loves these DELICIOUS treats... What a fun way to change it up.
While we are BIG fans of the CUPCAKE tower, our new favorite party or wedding treat is the doughnut stack! Delish! Colorful! And oh.... the guilty pleasure to be enjoyed at your next special occasion!!!

Love love love PINK & Brown

Pink and Brown is a great color combo all year round!

Fun favors!

Viva Las Vegas! These tiny suitcases are perfect party favors for destination weddings whether it be Vegas or Hawaii! Fill them with little trinkets that compliment your destination like dice and a pack of cards for Vegas or a sea shell bracelet and mini tube of sunscreen for Hawaii.

We love miniature Chinese boxes! They are inexpensive and make really cute party favors for any event! You can get creative and place fun things inside like fortune cookies with personalized fortunes or origami cranes which are a Japanese symbol for luck and loyalty in marriage

A creepy cocktail!

Nope! These aren't real eyeballs... But they sure look real!
What a fun and CREEPY way to get ready for the Halloween celebrations with EYEBALL COCKTAILS!!

These guys are really easy to make and are sure to create a fun "splash" at any Halloween party!

Directions:

With medium-size radishes and olives, you can create creepy ice cubes that appear to contain eyeballs -- ideal for a macabre martini on the rocks or in a ghastly glass of flavored seltzer for your young ghouls-in-training.

Trim the stem and root ends of a radish (make sure it's small enough to fit the individual section of an ice-cube tray), and use a paring knife to scrape off most of the red skin. Leave just enough red to give the radish a veined appearance. Rinse the radish off, and use a small melon baller to cut 1/2-inch-diameter hole into the radish. Fit an olive, cut side out, into the hole, and place the radish in the ice-cube tray. Repeat this process until the tray is full, then pour water over the eyeballs, and freeze.

Invitation DOs and DON'Ts!

The aforementioned is OBVIOUSLY a DON'T...
but we thought it deserved a chuckle.
There are tons of great places online, and in person, to find proper wording for every INVITATION need you could possibly have...
EVERY stationary store that sells invites, has copies of past events utilizing tons of wording options in addition to proper etiquette regarding style, the mention and or inclusion of family names etc...
Always a wise choice to do a bit of research beforehand...
Google happens to be a wonderful alternative as well :) Lots of examples and lots of wording options!

In a PINK class of its very own... Ojai Valley Inn

Ojai Valley Inn + Spa

So, I don't normally plug hotels. BUT, we had an exceptional experience here this past weekend and I feel like giving the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa AND its incredible staff a major PINK thumb up!
Best service, room, staff, amenities HANDS DOWN.
We booked the "Best of Ojai" Package which included a beautiful suite with a fireplace, a round of golf for my lovely husband and a AMAZING massage for me. It couldn't have been a better weekend, and of all the trips I have been on... this ranks top 5. (Mainly because of the friendly service) Every member of the staff (including grounds keepers) not only greeted us, but had smiles on their faces and seemed genuinely interested in their guests happiness while on the property. Did I mention that they are pet friendly as well??? THEY ARE! Little Buffalo felt right at home and was treated like a little prince!

Next time you book a romantic getaway, a fun trip with the girls or just a mini escape... Get in the car and take the scenic drive on the 101 to the Ojai Valley Inn. You won't regret it.
